MeeVee Interviews Criminal Minds Star Paget Brewster

Pagetbrewster Paget Brewster fights crime! Okay, not really, but several of her best-known roles have seen the versatile actress and frequent Friends guest star battling evil. In the live-action comedy film The Specials, Paget triangulated her love between fellow superheroes Rob Lowe and Thomas Haden Church. As the voice of Birdgirl in the animated series Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, she brought the "SMACK!" "POW!" "WHAM!" back to television. Now Paget, a lifelong "true crime" buff, joins CBS's hit drama Criminal Minds, as ace FBI profiler Emily Prentiss.

In this exclusive interview, Paget shares with MeeVee her fascination with serial killers, her handy self-defense tips, and even a few Birdgirl sound effects.

MeeVee Exclusive! Interview with Class Members Sean Maguire and Andrea Anders

19439_p_1Sean_maguire_1 In Part II of MeeVee's onset visit with The Class, I chat with Andrea Anders -- who plays Nicole Allen, wife of Yonk and once-requited love interest of Duncan -- and Sean Maguire, Lucy's gay prom date and pseudo-relationship Buffer. Much is revealed such as Andrea's love of Oprah and Sean's early career as one of the UK's cheesiest 90s pop stars.

Tell me how you both got started.
Andrea: Oh, I’d like to hear your story [Sean's], and please, please make sure you cover the part I like best.

Sean: Alright. Very briefly, my parents owned an Irish dancing school in London, and we were forced to do it as children. Then, an agent saw me and my brothers and sisters dance, and because they asked us, I did a movie when I was about five with Lawrence Olivier (A Voyage Round My Father). After then, I just sort of worked pretty much regular, and then sort of made records when I was about eighteen -- really, really dreadful pop records.

S012184aAfter a month and a half of bowl games and playoffs, the football season comes to an abrupt end. But for those of us who found Sunday’s anticlimactic Super Bowl unfulfilling, there are still a handful of football table scraps to help ease us into the dark seven-month offseason.

MeeVee Video Top 5: Super Bowl Commercials

Bowl_xli Super Bowl commercials -- they've become almost as talked about as the Big Game itself. From the classic Budweiser frogs to the 1984 Apple spoof of Big Brother, these commercials have had their lasting marks on the advertising industry.

Unfortunately, this year's ads proved to be almost as disappointing as Chicago QB Rex Grossman's performance. Besides the K-Fed ad, no commercial seemed to make a strong impression. They weren't very catchy, and most will probably be forgotten by lunchtime Monday. Out of a lackluster pack, these are the five most memorable.
