MeeVee Exclusive! Interview with Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls Star Krysten Ritter

Her unique look and comic timing make her the ultimate scene stealer in just about every show she guest stars on. After playing pivotal characters on Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls, Ritter is now taking on the role of Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher’s daughter on the Fox sitcom, ‘Til Death. We caught up with her while she was on break in New York.

MeeVee Picks the Top Ten TeeVee Christmas Clichés of All Time

Simpsons_christmas_wallpaper The holidays are truly a magical time of year. Trees are decorated, lights are twinkling, children are smiling, and television writers are taking a nice big break from creating new material. Yes, we’ve all noticed that quite a few recycled story lines float around in December.

In fact, a recent scientific study at some highly reputable university or other has determined that there are only ten possible Christmas episode plot lines. See if you can find all ten this season.

10. The crazy last-minute gift adventure. TV was doing this long before Jingle All The Way hit the big screen. Homer Simpson, king of the last-minute gifts, had an adventure in The Simpsons' very first episode. When he didn’t have enough money for presents, Homer tried to win big at the dog track, only to end up flat broke. But he adopted an abandoned racing dog named Santa’s Little Helper, and wwound up scoring a gift that the whole family loved. Awwww.

Fire In Paradise: Lost Star Evangeline Lilly’s House Goes Up In Flames

Main1 Lost star Evangeline Lilly’s rented house in Hawaii was destroyed by fire early Wednesday morning. Luckily, the Golden Globe-nominated actress was already on set when the blaze occurred, and none of her roommates were home. Gawkers can see a photo of the fire here.

(For the record, we’re only gonna joke about this because no one was hurt, and we’re fairly sure Lilly had renter’s insurance.)

Are We Really Still Celebrating The Year’s Best Commercials?

Kevinnealon It’s become one of the stranger year-end traditions in the world of entertainment -- dedicating an entire hour of programming to showcasing the year’s best commercials. As the old joke goes: What, do they run an episode of Seinfeld at the breaks or something?

As strange as it may be, the good people at TBS have given MeeVee a sneak peak at their Top Ten funniest commercials of 2006. They'll all be revealed on in a special that airs December 27, hosted by the one and only Kevin Nealon.
