As usual, each character's story arc has its own allegory in the form of a patient's story. Cristina is having a tough time with Burke's recuperation, but when an epileptic patient's wife learns to be more supportive, so does Cristina.

In the tradition of National Geographic Channel’s In The Womb and the BBC’s landmark documentary The Miracle of Birth, In the Womb: Animals provides curious viewers with heretofore unseen glimpses of dog, elephant, and dolphin gestation. While these half-formed creatures floating about in amniotic fluid may not pass for “cute,” their ghostly forms are sure to evoke a sense of awe in viewers of all ages.

Heisman Trophy Presentation: Simply the Best?
Movies have the Oscars. Brainiacs have the Nobel Prize. College football has the Heisman Trophy, the prize bestowed upon the outstanding player of the year. The Heisman is the most historic and most important award in sports (sorry, ESPYs).
As I’ve pointed out in an earlier column, the concept of sports awards is a bit redundant. The Heisman ceremony is therefore only worth watching as long as it accurately predicts NFL success (which it often doesn't), or at least provides some amusement (see ’98 Heisman winner Ricky Williams).
