McCain Announces Presidential Candidacy On Letterman, Immediately Puts Foot In Mouth
It was an interesting move. Last night Republican Senator John McCain used his appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman to announce his bid to become the next President Of The United States. He then wasted no time shooting himself right in the foot. McCain was quite blunt in his criticism of the way President Bush has handled the Iraq war.
Jericho: Let's Go On a Field Trip
Jericho
Title: “Black Jack”
First Aired: 2/28/07
First, let’s take a tally. Jericho is at the center of a post-apocalyptic nightmare, starring the darling and mysterious hero Jake. His love affair was rudely interrupted last week when sweetheart Emily, who was finally starting to fall for Jake again, found her fiancé, whom she'd believed was dead. And Hawkins -- well now, it’s pretty clear what he has in the old basement, but it’s just speculation still. No one knows what side the man is on. Now, there’s the matter of the windmills. It’s always something when the world is close to ending.
Lost: Get Your Motor Running...
Lost
Title: "Tricia Tanaka Is Dead"
First Aired: 2/28/07
Lost took a big break last night from all the drama and tension of the last few weeks to focus on one very important thing: Hope. It may be hard to find hope when you’re stranded on a mysterious island with a very resourceful group of psychopaths kidnapping your friends all the time, but Hurley showed us that sometimes all it takes to restore a little hope is a beat-up old van and a case of beer.
American Idol: Uh-Uh, Girlfriend -- No, You Didn't!
American Idol
Title: "The Top 10 Girls Perform"
First Aired: 2/28/07
Yes, they did! To use two of Randy Jackson's three catchphrases, the girls on American Idol blew it out last night. That was hot!
Led by Stephanie Edwards, Lakisha Jones, and Melinda Doolittle, the ladies left little doubt as to who is in charge this year. Even second-tier contestants like Gina Glocksen and Jordin Sparks made the guys seem very forgettable.
This is not the real tragedy, though. The real tragedy is the other girl on American Idol who's become totally forgettable -- Paula Abdul!

If there are two things that Al Gough knows, they're cops and superheroes. This talented writer has helped to bring to life such hits as Lethal Weapon 4, Showtime, and Timecop the TV series. At an overcrowded party for The CW recently, MeeVee's own tights-wearing Man of Steel, Steve Czarnecki, took a seat next to Al. In between gobbling down bites of delicious roast beef and parmesan mashed potatoes, Steve asked the Smallville creator a few long-awaited questions.
