Britney Spears Checks Back Into Rehab After Attacking Car With An Umbrella
They say there's no such thing as bad publicity, but Britney Spears may have just found the exception to that rule. Spears has landed back in rehab for the third time in just a week, after taking out some serious frustration on a paparazzi-owned vehicle.
It all started when the newly bald Britney was refused entry to Kevin Federline's Los Angeles home...

Oscar Fashion: A Celebration of Mediocrity
79th Annual Academy Awards
LIVE! Sunday, Feb. 25 on ABC
Enough with the hullabaloo about the Academy Awards' best- and worst-dressed attendees. We care about fashion, we really do. But what about the unsung heroes of mediocrity? It’s high time the average lookers at the Oscars have their heyday.
There are those who vacillate between stunning and stupid, gorgeous and gross, perfect and putrid. Others hit a high note here and there, then waver in obscurity. Some, however, manage to stake their claim to mediocrity, never disappointing with their so-so fashion choices. Meryl Streep is one such average goddess -- she rarely looks either atrocious, or mind-blowing.

Ten-year-old Best Supporting Actress nominee Abigail Breslin may not know much about such former child stars as Mickey Rooney or Hayley Mills, but she has an outside shot at joining them in the annals of history as a young Oscar winner. Grey's Anatomy -- After the Afterlife
Grey’s Anatomy
Title: "Some Kind of Miracle"
First Aired: 2/22/07
Last week on Grey’s Anatomy, we watched as Queen Meredith drowned in the bay, was rescued by Derek / McDreamy, and yet still refused to come back to life. The afterlife was keeping her busy. We were left dangling, aching to know: Will the show's main character actually return from the other side? Oh, the drama!
Shockingly, Meredith does decide to return. My guess is it’s because the afterlife looked really boring -- a lot of lectures from folks she may have missed. That’s not heaven. She did have her deceased golden retriever with her -- that’s the bonus. Meanwhile, as Meredith clung to life by a thread, all hell broke loose at Seattle Grace.
Survivor: Fiji -- Mean Architect, Go Home
Survivor: Fiji
Title: "This Isn't Survival...It's 'Thrival'"
First Aired: 2/22/07
Last week, Survivor: Fiji castaway Sylvia narrowly avoided banishment from her adopted Ravu tribe. This week, she couldn’t escape elimination, and showed little effort to save herself. Bye-bye, Sylvia -- we hope it was fun being bossy, detached, and universally disliked.
Poor Team Ravu! They're on a downward spiral of losing and destruction. They have yet to win a challenge, and this episode was no different. Despite showing plenty of heart and the occasional burst of positive energy, the tribe is turning on itself more and more, broken down by lack of food and water. Wimps, all of them! [ahem...]

American Idol: It's Hard to Sing "Cryin'" When You're Actually Crying
America, you should be ashamed. If Asian-American crooner Paul Kim can't muster up enough support to make it past the first round of cuts on American Idol, how are we ever supposed to elect a black / brown / red / yellow / woman / gay / tranny President of these United States? Aargh!
Oh, well. At least Paul has company. Joining him at the all-you-can-drink hemlock bar are Nicole Tranquillo, Rudy Cardenas, and Amy Krebs.
All four of these contestants, justly ignored by text-messaging teens, will likely spend the rest of their lives saying things like, "To be honest, you'd be surprised at how big Paula Abdul's face is in real life. But seriously, man. Do you have any drugs?"
Such is the fate of the bridesmaids of fame.

Weekend Picks: Feb. 23-26
79th Academy Awards
Ellen DeGeneres hosts the latest installment of the only awards show that anyone really cares about, live from the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. It's the Super Bowl of awards shows, where the year's greatest films battle for supremacy on the gridiron of Academy popularity. Except, you know, with less action, more talking, and fewer entertaining commercials. But hey, at least it's still three hours long, right?
Grease: You're the One That I Want
Frankie Avalon, the Teen Angel himself, guest stars on this week's episode to try and squeeze one last rendition of "Beauty School Dropout" out of this franchise. Meanwhile, two more contestants are sent back to their respective community college drama courses after missing the cut.
The Amazing Race: All-Stars -- Beauty is Sometimes Skin Deep
With the first team already gone and forgotten, the second leg of the race begins in Ecuador. The remaining teams must race across a desert in 4x4's. One team gets stuck in neutral when they misread a vital clue. See, kids? Basic literacy does eventually pay off -- despite what Paris Hilton says!
