Desperate Housewives: Pizza is My Dream!

Savant2Viewers, rejoice! Tom Scavo has found himself! In freshly baked dough, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese, that is. Tom’s wife Lynette is nonplussed about her husband’s dream to open a pizza parlor, and she even uses the F-word. (The other F-word -- “failure.” Although, if Desperate Housewives ran on HBO, maybe she would have used the funnier one.) The ever-devious Nora (who’s always lurking around somewhere -- kind of creepy) easily persuades Lynette to put the kibosh on Tom’s master plan. Seems Nora’s got a master plan of her own -- she’s trying to drive a wedge between the Scavos, and bring Tom, her baby daddy, home. While Tom becomes further emasculated staying at home with the kids and watching his wife go to the office to support everyone, Nora can now play supportive cheerleader, encouraging Tom to chase his hot and crusty pizza dreams.

Totally Frakked: Battlestar Galactica – Super-Mega Outer Space Fight

666_1 In the season's most exciting episode yet, Apollo manages to total the Pegasus, Tigh kills his wife (but in a nice way), and Starbuck makes out with the Leoben Cylon who's been imprisoning her. Plus, we witness insanely awesome outer space fights (and excellent special effects) when Galactica zooms into the New Caprica atmosphere, releases a bunch of fighters, and jumps into hyperspace just before slamming into the ground. Dude! It's a white-knuckle night for Battlestar Galactica.

K-Fed and Nick Carter on WWE? Makes Sense.

Xin_421003181730567281747 Following in the tradition of Cyndi Lauper, Insane Clown Posse and (believe it or not) Billy Corgan, Mr. Britney Spears has entered the world of professional wrestling. Not to be outdone, Nick and Aaron Carter made an appearance on Friday night's SmackDown! for no discernible reason. This kind of promotional synergy would be repulsive if it weren't so appealingly surreal. I always found MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch to be funny, but I didn't realize how prescient it was. Suddenly, a wrestling match between Chris Kirkpatrick and Nick Lachey doesn't just sound possible. It sounds inevitable.

Amazing Race: The Good, the Bad, and the Nasty

Story_02 The Amazing Race displayed the absolute best and worst of the race this week, with some brotherly love offered up by the Chos, and pushing, shoving, trash talk, and more attempted fake-outs offered by every other team. Eventually, though, poor navigation, rather than a fake-out, that led to Peter and Sarah's Philimination.
