Kramer Loses His Mind, Unleashes Barage Of Racism

Xinsrc_042110321111707816363Seinfeld co-star Michael Richards is in some deep water after a stand-up routine gone terribly wrong at a Los Angeles comedy club Friday night. Richards lost his temper with some African-American hecklers and spit out a two-minute tirade of racial epithets. The whole event was caught on tape and shows Richards calling the audience members "niggers" several times, and implying that they should be hanged.

Racism is quickly becoming a theme in Hollywood following Mel Gibson's recent anti-semetic meltdown. And whether it's yet to be seen if the public (and Hollywood) will forgive Mel for his antics, Richards may have just commited career suicide. He hasn't been a cash cow for quite some time, and publicity this bad only adds to his unattractiveness as a comodity.

Richards has already appeared on Letterman to apologise for the outburst. Expect to see a lot of foot-in-mouth removal surgury on the airwaves in the next few days.

GMMR: How I Met Your Mother Recap -- “Slap Bet”

Gmmr_logo_7

One of the How I Met Your Mother gang has a secret that has been hidden for the entire time they have been friends. What is it? That is anyone’s guess. Of course, it was open to much speculation.

The speculation led to one of the best episodes of the year. It led to the nicknaming of another of our favorite people.

It all begins with Barney’s excitement with the grand opening of a new Sharper Image down at the mall. He wants the gang to join him and said he’ll buy everyone something if they go along. And then, you hear things come to a screeching halt. Robin refuses to go to the mall with them. It comes out that Robin refuses to go to malls and even at everyone else’s insisting, Robin says she’d rather just not talk about it. Begin speculation!

Barney thinks he has the answer. Porn!

Ted: You know?
Barney: Of course I know. She couldn’t look at us, her face got flushed, that’s shame my friend. Our friend Robin used to do porn-wait for it-ography.

The Bachelor: Rome -- Get Out Your Claws

Borghese_1

Hell hath no fury like a whole room full of women scorned. Especially when the room includes a snobbish socialite, a fiery Italian, and a stone-cold crazy Utah girl. It’s a minor miracle that no one on The Bachelor: Rome required medical attention. This week marked the always-frenzied Tell-All, reuniting the most colorful of characters, less the two remaining bachelorettes. The prince even had the guts to make a showing, and although his stay was brief, he came out swinging too. Human nature at its finest? Not exactly, but it makes for damn good TV.

MeeVee Exclusive! Interview with The Bachelor: Rome's Prince Lorenzo Borghese

106725_9063_pre He’s an Italian prince who doesn’t speak Italian, but he clearly knows the language of love. Lorenzo Borghese, the dreamy-eyed megaprize on The Bachelor: Rome, is poised to make his monumental decision next week. The field of 27 woo-worthy women has been narrowed to just two gems: Sadie, the marketing manager/virgin from San Diego, and Jen, the quiet but magnetic teacher from Miami. Lorenzo recently revealed a little backstage rivalry from this cult show, and while he wouldn’t hint at who has won his love, he did have dirt to dish.

Desperate Housewives: Neighborhood Watch

ScavosAfter last week’s discovery of Art’s underage pleasure den on Desperate Housewives, Lynette goes to the authorities to report the seemingly pedophiliac tendencies of her new neighbor. When she’s not taken seriously, Lynette (on leave from her job after the shooting incident) takes it upon herself to become the unofficial neighborhood watchdog. Keeping vigil at her front window, and not letting her kids leave the house unsupervised, becomes her new 24-hour job. But it’s a game of cat and mouse. Before you can say, “Want some candy, little boy?” Art tells Lynette -- now his nemesis -- that he was merely storing all the toys and games until the children’s hospital could pick them up. How sweet. Still, what about those compromising photos of half-naked young lads? Lynette remains visibly spooked, so Tom suggests that she see a shrink -- but that's next week.

Totally Frakked: Battlestar Galactica - Cylon Threesome Good; Adama Retcon Bad

Nup_100465_0087 Battlestar Galactica has a real literary feel these days. The Cylons are morphing into characters from a 1970s SF sexploitation novel, while Galactica's crew seems more like the one in Iain M. Banks' brilliant novel, Consider Phlebas. The former is slightly good, the latter... not good at all. Everybody likes a little Cylon sex, and we certainly get that in the latest episode, “Hero.” After Baltar's torturegasm last week, he scored big. The D'Anna Cylon wakes up naked in a sumptuous, silky-velvety Cylon bed with Baltar and Number Six. Way to go, everybody! Back on Galactica, we're not getting the sexylove vibe. It's everybody versus everybody when one of Adama's former pilots, Bulldog, arrives on the ship, full of bad feelings about being in a Cylon prison for three years.

Amazing Race: No Regrets... Except Losing a Million Dollars

Story_17 The Amazing Race started where we left off last week, with the "To Be Continued...," not-so-much-a-cliffhanger ending. The teams are less than enthused that there's another leg to endure before any Philimination business can take place, but they take their lumps and get to business in Ukraine. Team Cho runs possibly the worst leg ever run in an Amazing Race, taking so many missteps along the way, it's shocking that they even make it to the mat for their inevitable ousting.

WWE: Putting the "World" Back in World Wrestling Entertainment

1136994181 What could be more American (and less British) than wrestling? The gaudiness, the unrelenting competitiveness tempered by an inability to take itself seriously, the total reliance on stereotypes. Last week’s WWE Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown! took their traveling circuses to the other side of the pond, showcasing the WWE superstars in Manchester, England.

Generally, the locales of these shows seem to be of little importance. There’s no hometown advantage -- Batista is a good guy no matter where he wrestles. Still, you could see that the fans in Manchester favored polite applause over neon signs reading, "Suck it."
